Under the slightly mysterious title a wealth of relevant comments is
presented on the number of aspects of certain specific numerical
treatment of central (i.e., ODE) perturbed oscillators and Coulomb
systems. Besides a lot of pleasure over details (combining virial
theorem, polynomial approximations and finite differences anew) the
reader will find the key message in the sentence: ``the currently
increasing tendency to blast every calculation with hundreds of
digits of precision might eventually have deleterious effects on the
role played by subtlety and ingenuity in computational physics."
